Simon Geelon

Prior to founding Geelon & Co. in 2010, Simon was a Director of Davy Capital Markets. Simon worked in the Institutional Equity division for 12 years, advising Asset Managers in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Simon’s clients included traditional Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Hedge Funds. Simon also played an active role in managing relationships with PLC clients (both domestic and overseas), with a particular focus on introducing listed company management to potential (and existing) institutional investors globally.

Previously, Simon worked as a Financial Analyst with Citibank in New York and London.

Simon holds Bachelor and Masters degrees in Business & Economics from Trinity College Dublin. In 2020, he was awarded a distinction in the Professional Diploma in Corporate Governance at University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.


Dr. Diane Pelly

Diane is an Assistant Professor of Behavioural Science in Trinity College Dublin. Diane was awarded her Doctorate in Behavioural Economics from University College Dublin. Diane also holds a 1st class honours BComm International (German) from University College Dublin, a 1st class honours MPhil (Finance) Masters degree from the University of Cambridge and a 1st class honours BSc in Psychology from the Open University.

Prior to joining Geelon & Co., Diane was employed as Head of Portfolio Asset Management at Zurich Bank, Dublin where she was responsible for both the day to day management and disposal of a portfolio of Irish and UK assets. Prior to that role, Diane worked for 9 years for Centre Reinsurance, a 100% subsidiary of Zurich Financial Services Group, where she was responsible for managing, restructuring and disposing of a large global portfolio of assets.

Previously, Diane worked for 4 years as an Associate within the Project Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions departments of Citigroup, London.
